Survivors of a dark road, I'd like to hear from you.
You don't need to have it figured out, and you don't need to be finished. A first note is just a first note — nothing is recorded, and nothing is public, until you say so.
There is power in your story for the world to hear.
Every conversation travels the same four stages.
No one's journey is the same and everyone is unique, but Jesus certainly makes a way of bringing us to Himself in a similar pattern. Nobody is rushed through the stages, and nobody skips to the end.
Before
What life looked like, told without flinching and without polish.
The end of self
The moment something gave way.
Grabbing His hand and getting back up
Describing the changes, life shiftings, and your way out.
Hope
We talk about life now, some of the biggest lessons, and a Word to the world.
From a first email to the episode airing.
- We talk, with nothing recording
A call before anything is scheduled. What an episode would involve, what I'd ask, and what you'd rather not discuss. Plenty of these calls end with someone deciding not to do it, and that's a fine outcome.
- You read a release, and you keep a copy
Signed before we record, never at the door. It covers the recording, your likeness, and how the finished episode can be used. Take it to someone you trust first if you want to.
- Consent goes on the tape
At the top of the session, in your own voice. It's archived with the recording so there's never a question about what you agreed to.
- We record at your pace
Any question can be passed on. We can stop, take a break, or end the session entirely, and none of that has to be explained.
- You hear the edit before anyone else
Anything you want cut is cut. If you decide you don't want it released, it isn't released.
- I check in after it airs
Telling a hard story publicly is often harder afterward than during. Publishing isn't the end of the relationship.
The parts that don't change, for anyone.
- You are never recorded without knowing it and agreeing to it.
- You can withdraw at any point before release, for any reason, without explaining.
- Nothing airs that you asked to have removed.
- This show is about redemption through Jesus — nothing but, and nothing less. Your story is told in your words, and no one will ever script them for you. The one thing we ask of those words is discretion and discernment — care with explicit language, so your story can reach everyone who needs to hear it.
- You will not be edited to sound like you reached a conclusion you didn't reach.
